These are some comments related to the creation of episode guides and FAQs. This is mainly for my own information; I wanted to see who else has tried (and presumably failed) to make up such reference materials for the show. (Thus I haven't included every comment about Adam Lieberman's ``Descriptive Episode List'', since that was successful and is currently available on-line.)

  Time to start compiling a CEIA FAQ. ^_^ Perhaps we should come up with a standard naming scheme for all the episodes thus far. I don't think anyone has concrete data on initial air dates for the first dozen shows or so. (Unless...Greg?)

  Also, anyone out there interested in working with a couple others out here in email land to work up a history of Nick? I know one fellow is maintaining a Honey, I'm Home episode guide, addressing a bit of Nick history as well. Then another fellow is maintaining a Ren And Stimpy guide and I am working on a Doug episode guide. But what I would REALLY love is to see an attempt to document Nick's various programming efforts since it first hit the air. This will take access to old TV Guides or other similar written documents.

  I am _as we speak_ in the process of reviewing all the episodes I have in order to work up short synopses. My main goal in writing these is to assist one in locating a particular plot line, so I pay a lot of attention to mentioning plot elements, and don't spend much time going into detail.

  As for an episode guide, I know that the other big mailing lists around here like Seinfeld, have gotten a copy of the guide from the actual show. I think we need to give this a shot. I don't seem to remember if anyone ever let NICK know that CEIA has this kinda following. I'm sure they'd be happy to hear it, and maybe even give us an episode guide. I'd be happy to do it if anyone can come up with a phone number! :)

  Finally, to whoever mentioned the history of nick thing. Hey, I'm all for it. I've watched nick from the beginning, and would gladly do what I could to help. I don't have access to anything like old TV guides, but I'm sure someone out there does!

  Hey, CEIA fans.

  Well, I think that it's about time that we gathered all of our incredible knowledge and free-time together and compiled all of our wonderful info and put it on ferkel for FTP, where the nearly empty clarissa directory sits. I know this would be appreciated by the continually growing family of Clarissa-list subscribers.

  The first of these, IMHO, should be a complete episode guide. Now, I'd be happy to put the first two seasons together, but without CATV, I've missed most of the SNICK ones, so I'd need a complete listing of those. I know that either Jim D., Jim L., or Philip MUST have them all on tape.... :)

  I've kept records of everything from December 22, 1991 to August 22, 1992. Just don't ask for anything from it before Thanksgiving (except what I can recall from memory). Note that I don't know the _original_ airtimes of anything before February 14.

  I'm also in the process of creating a monthly CEIA fanzine, so if anyone has any inside info, PLEASE e-mail me. I'm also looking for contributions of articles, artwork, etc... Doesn't matter what, just as long as it relates to all things Clarissa :) I can't offer any payment (that may change) but I will send free contributor's copies. Not only will your work(s) be seen by no-telling-how-many Clarissa fans, but I'm planning on sending complimentary copies to Miss MJH herself...
