- Weak Points and Mistakes:
[?]
- In the opening scene,
when Clarissa's alter ego (on the right) turns to leave,
a small portion of her left hand disappears briefly.
[?]
- This is one of two episodes in which ``twin Clarissas'' appear
in the opening scene.
The other one is
``Marshall's Parents Visit'' (#138).
Also, Coco Lancome, Clarissa's look-alike
great-great-aunt, once removed, appears in
``Don't I Know You'' (#150).
All of these episodes use spilt-screen special effects.
See
DYN: Special effects
for more about split screen effects in CEIA.
- Occasionally, they used an on-camera double or stand-in for Melissa.
In my opinion, this episode contains one of these times,
when Clarissa is walking to the bedroom door
at the beginning of the ``Mission Impossible'' scene.
I don't know for sure, but it certainly looks suspicious:
Clarissa is walking away from the camera, her face not visible;
she leans into the doorway and we cut to a shot of Janet on the bed;
then we cut back to Clarissa, who turns around and begins talking to us.
Anyway, see
DYN: Various lists
for other instances (both real and conjectured) of doubles or stand-ins
in CEIA.
