Another source of photographs of Melissa is the Shooting Stars Celebrity Photo Agency. The photos are available at various sizes, from 4"x6" up. There are quantity discounts. Please see their web-site for prices and a list of other celebrities (100's of them!) they have pictures of.

I am trying to put scans of all of their pictures of Melissa at tcp.com, but this is difficult since there are now over 700 of them with more coming almost every time Melissa makes a personal appearance somewhere!

So until I can get all of them scanned...

Summary of Shooting Stars pics

Here's a summary of the photos they have of Melissa. You can use the numbers given below when ordering; you may also want to include the name of the appearance just to be sure. Note that my ``favorites'' takes into account such things as how Melissa looks, how anybody else with her looks, focus, composition and so forth -- generally speaking, they're the ones that are good enough, in my opinion, to get enlargements of.

8th Annual Kids Choice Awards

Date:: 20 May 1995
Appearance:: silver, somewhat loose-fitting dress (skirt part comes to just above the knees) with wide, low-cut neckline; red AIDS pin on left strap; silver hair clips in medium-length hair (few inches past shoulders); black, string necklace with jingle-bell type thing in middle and brown bead to either side; second, silver chain necklace with gold ``J'' trinket; some sort of earrings (hair covers ears in all pics); black watch on left wrist, silver or gold chain bracelet on right; ring with some sort of design on middle finger on left hand; two rings on right: one with a design on middle finger and featureless, silver band on pinky; black fingernail polish; can't see her shoes.

General descriptions:: standing in front of ``Kids Choice'' backdrop = 8-21
Warnings:: most are relatively dark (although not objectionably so), apparently relying on single, provided light source (i.e., no flash); most either have noticeable scratches or other flaws (apparently problems with the negatives) or are slightly out of focus; worst in this regard are 10, 14, 20 (scratches, etc.) and 15 (out of focus -- no worse than a strong ``soft focus'' effect, though).

2nd Annual Big Help-A-Thon

Date:

01 Oct 1995

Appearance:

dark-blue, short-sleeved, button-down shirt; black, medium-length skirt (comes to mid-thigh); same jingle-bell necklace as before; shoulder-length hair; same rings on right hand as before; another featureless, silver band on ring finger of left hand; band-aid on right index finger; dark-red fingernail polish; silver, C-shaped bracelet on right wrist; gold (I think) watch with black face on left wrist; two (I think) earrings in right ear: one just a plain loop, the other a loop with some sort of attached design (or maybe the design part is a third earring -- I can't tell); three (I think) earrings in left ear: one a cross, one a loop, and one something else (as before, this is either two earrings, one plain and one fancy, or it's a single earring with those two parts to it); ankle bracelet with lots of little trinkets on right ankle; open-toed shoes/sandals of some kind, possibly black or brown; black or dark-red toenail polish.

Warnings:

many are out of focus (worst offenders: 24, 26, 38, 43, 45); some are a little dark (most notably: 45, 48-51, 59); scratches or other flaws (apparently on the negatives) visible in 24, 25, 35, 50; slow shutter speeds show hand movement in 39, 46.

black, sleeveless, cotton top with multicolored flower design; black, polyester (?) pants with red AIDS pin on right front pocket; big, black, vinyl (?) bag/purse hanging on right shoulder; medium-length (few inches past shoulder) hair, parted in middle; three earrings in right ear: one diamond stud, two silver loops; an incredible five (!) earrings in left ear: a diamond stud, three silver loops, and another diamond stud; no necklace; silver chain bracelet and black or dark-blue stretchy thing with gold ``J'' trinket on right wrist; silver watch on left wrist; one massively wide (c. 2/3 inch) silver ring on right ring finger; three rings on left hand: moderately wide silver ring on index finger, simple, gold band and ring with small studs of some sort all around it on ring finger; in some pics, holding a white pen (for signing autographs), blue, folded-up t-shirt and clear, plastic Crystal Geyser Natural Alpine Spring Water bottle (whew!), all in left hand; in some pics, has ``Big Help Crew'' ID badge hanging from string wrapped around right index finger; in other pics, ID badge is hanging on black bag; black sandal-like shoes (closed toe, but open heel with strap); they're kind of clunky looking -- one might even call them ``platform shoes'', perhaps?

Warnings:

first of all, there's a lot of repetition here; also, as usual, some shots are out of focus (worst in this regard: 61, 66, 125, 128, 138, 139, 150, 151); all were taken outdoors or in bumper car area, so lighting is not a problem; as noted above, Melissa's face is hidden in pic #158; note that there are some neat shots of Melissa (interesting facial expressions or caught in middle of some action) that I haven't included in ``my favorites'' because they aren't, strictly speaking, ``good photos''; in the batch that I got, no problems with the negatives.

18th Annual CableACE Awards

Date:

16 Nov 1996

Appearance:

long, black, velvet-like (?) dress; delicate, silver necklace with 5 small trinkets of various colors (purple, green, red, green, purple); three earrings on right ear: a diamond stud, a silver loop and another silver loop with a large trinket of some sort hanging down; same loop-and-trinket earring on left ear; can't really tell, but probably at least one other earring on left ear; hair is partially crimped (alternating crimped and straight sections), parted somewhat haphazardly in the middle, and comes a few inches past shoulders; heavier makeup and darker lipstick than usual; silver chain bracelet and black or dark-blue stretchy thing with gold ``J'' trinket on right wrist; silver or gold band (possibly a watch) on left wrist; three rings on right hand: exact designs hard to make out, but smallest (narrowest) is on pinky, next largest on middle finger and largest on ring finger; three silver rings on left hand: large one with at least one red (ruby?) stud on index finger, smaller one with some sort of design on ring finger, and one that's two plain bands twisting around each other on thumb; shoes never visible.
