ABC is also said to be considering moving its two freshman Friday-night comedies ``Clueless'' and ``Sabrina, the Teenage Witch'' to another night. One scenario has them moving to the 8-9 p.m. Tuesday slot, currently held by ``Roseanne,'' whose ratings have fallen this year, and freshman ``Life's Work.'' Another scenario has the pair moving to Saturday probably in the 8-9 p.m. block.

ABC has renewed Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. They've ordered 22 episodes for the 1997-98 season. A recent article stated:
"Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" is clearly a winner in it's 9:00-9:30 p.m., ET, time slot on Fridays. For the season to date, the series is ABC's highest rated T.G.I.F. comedy; wins its time period among total viewers, women 18-49, teens and kids; and builds on its lead-in among these same categories. "Sabrina's" season-to-date rankings place it number one among kids and number one among teens.
Nick Bakay, the voice of Salem, participated in an on-line chat.
There was an ultra-brief (c. 5 sec) mention of MJH/Sabrina on Entertainment Tonight.
Caroline Rhea (Hilda) was on Politically Incorrect.
``3-D Week'' on ABC. Some sitcoms, including STTW, had 3-D scenes in them.
Charlene Fernetz (Zelda in the STTW movie) guest-starred in an episode of Diagnosis Murder.
A Reuters/Variety article by Jenny Hontz said of ABC's fall 1997 lineup:
On Friday nights, ABC is expected to stick to its TGIF plan, with Sabrina: The Teenage Witch possibly moving to 8 p.m. to lead off the night. New shows that might be added to the Friday teen lineup are: Teen Angel and The Genie Show. Boy Meets World is also expected to return, as is 20/20 at 10 p.m.
Caroline Rhea (Hilda in STTW) hosted All-Star T.G.I.F. Magic, featuring TGIF stars and other celebs -- but not Melissa, apparently.
Ryan White reports that his local ABC affiliate (if not others) showed STTW at this time. Episode: ``Hilda and Zelda: The Teenage Years'' (#015).
Parker Brothers (supposedly) released the Sabrina, the Teenage Witch board game in Jun 97.
A recent Reuter article by Judith Schoolman describes it as follows:

The nominees for Best Individual Performer in a Children's Series are Paul Zaloom on BEAKMAN'S WORLD, Bill Nye on BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY, Fred Rogers on MISTER ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD, Melissa Joan Hart on SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH and Larissa Olienik on THE SECRET WORLD OF ALEX MACK. And the Ratty goes to... Melissa Joan Hart on SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH. This was Ms. Hart's first Ratty nomination. The nominees for Best Writing in a Children's Series are ANIMANIACS, BEAKMAN'S WORLD, BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY, SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH and THE SECRET WORLD OF ALEX MACK. And the Ratty goes to... ANIMANIACS. This is the first award for the animated series.

Rebroadcast of All-Star T.G.I.F. Magic special from May, hosted by Caroline Rhea (Aunt Hilda). Melissa doesn't appear in it, but several other TGIF stars do.
Janeane Garofalo, in her latest HBO Comedy Hour special, was telling a story about a wholesome-looking, blonde, white-bread girl and described her as looking like Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
Caroline Rhea (Hilda) was a guest on Later with host Wendy Liebman. (On Tue night, but after midnight, so really Wed morning.)
Jenna Leigh Green (Libby) reportedly was a contestant on Singled Out.
Martin Mull (new to the cast this season, playing Sabrina's vice principal) was a guest on Politically Incorrect. (I think. I missed it.)
