- Story
- Although Sabrina would prefer to spend Halloween -- the most important
holiday of the year -- at Harvey's cool costume party, her aunts insist she
spend it at the traditional witches' coven celebration. Her problem appears
to be solved, or so it seems, when Sabrina uses her new-sprung magic to be in
two places at the same time
(from ABC's AOL folder)
- Opening Scene
- Sabrina experiences Hilda and Zelda in full Halloween spirit;
they suggest an alternative to her choice of costume.
[Hilda, Zelda and Sabrina in the kitchen]

- Emily Hart, who plays Melissa's annoying little cousin Amanda,
is one of Melissa's sisters.
(BTW, notice how her teeth look almost identical to Melissa's at that age?)
- Some people have pointed out the inconsistency of
Sabrina coming into her powers at 16
while Amanda has powers at a much younger age.
As far as I'm concerned, the simple explanation is that
Sabrina is half-witch and half-mortal, while Amanda is a full witch.
Others don't accept this explanation, however.
I don't remember if there's anything explicitly stated about this in
the movie
or
``Pilot'' (#001).
- (Partial) lyrics to Halloween carols Hilda and Zelda sing in the kitchen:
- Core the pumpkin,
Ghosts come play.
Halloween, oh happy day!
Halloween, oh happy day!
- Have a jolly, holly, hallo-halloween...
- The three things that Sabrina chooses for her clone to say:
- ``I'd love to!''
- ``That is so true!''
- ``Mr. Pool can be so annoying!''
